Breaking Bank: How a Bunch of Autists, Idiots, and Assholes are Changing the World for the Better

Dear Fellow Human in a Fucked Up World,

Have you noticed the divisive politics? The empty hatred being spit out of your television set? The bullshit narratives being spoonfed to you by your social media feeds, if you even have them? No? Well, you should have, because hedge funds own the news. They own the banks. They own everything, and everybody knows it. Yet, here we are, all screaming at each other across some imagined political divide while they laugh their asses off in their ivory towers and work us to death, making us fight against each other so we don’t look up to see who is pulling the strings. Didn’t you ever wonder if there was more to the story? Because there is. And every last bit of it revolves around money and greed. Nothing more. Nothing less. The same old story. The same old nonsense. And I’m writing this letter in the hopes that I can help you step back and see that it was never red vs. blue or USA vs some other country, it was ALWAYS regular people and the very rich. Always. Since the very beginning. You have to know and accept that if this is going to make any difference.

When most people are asked if they think the economic system is corrupt on unfairly biased towards the wealthy and powerful, the answer is a de facto, “Of course”, but once COVID happened, a significant number of us — myself included — starting getting curious and started looking a little more closely at how all of this worked. And, well, let’s just say we started to understand exactly how criminal it all was and we started talking to each other. We used mostly social media, digging up information and documents, and we started putting together the pieces. We learned how hedge funds and big banks and even bigger money makes the whole system work for them, and we started calling them out on that. Do you remember Gamestop? Well, Gamestop is a part of it, but it’s also part of something much, much bigger. A global movement to hold the playmakers accountable for what they’ve done to this world we live in. A shot in the dark initiative to educate the masses so people can finally step back and see that they have had power this whole time, and that power lies in their pockets. Their wallets. And their education.

If you’ve gotten this far, it means you get it. You know it’s always been that simple, but it’s also always felt that big. You’ve probably said the world is the way it is, and there’s nothing we can do about it. But there is. There are millions of us, all around the world, and we’re learning. We’re digging up all their dirty little secrets and showing them we know what they’re doing. If you’d like to be informed — really informed — do not look to a political candidate. Look to the information. The facts. The truth. Not some talking head on your nightly news station. All I can do is get you started. You have to do the heavy lifting yourself. You have to follow the breadcrumbs…It’s always been about the money, but it doesn’t always have to be.

But people like you and me have to want to help themselves. We have to want to learn. We have to care. And we have to start fighting back — not through violence or hatred, but through education, community, and kindness. This is the way. The only way to get the world we were promised way back when, and we have to make sure others learn, too.

Best of luck to you. Maybe we’ll see each other on the digital battlefield where all of this is unfolding. Or maybe you’ll go back to your life the way you like it — small, comfortable, and so dangerously certain of everything. But if you agree with anything I’ve said in this letter, if you believe that human beings all deserve basic human rights and that greed has finally reached a tipping point, you’ll read. You’ll learn like I did. And you’ll know that there is hope for the kind of tomorrow that our kids can be proud of.
